What can be done to repel lizards? They cause much nuisance value. Some children get afraid of them also.

I think it'd be cool to live where reptiles just run around. My Aunt has house geckos in Texas. I think they are neat. I have 3 pet reptiles though, so I might be a little weird. I'd rather have a house gecko in my house than a mouse any day.

True, but geckos are creepy to me. I can stay in my old room, lol.

Lizard On Patio Rock - A lizard in my backyard stretched out on a rock sunning
Lizards are actually very healthy for the environment, they keep away many insects that will harm you even more. It is best to put the lizards in an area they can benefit you. They are the best "organic" insect repellant we have. I would LOVE to have some Lizards so they would keep the mosquitos away. The best way to control the lizards is to keep the insects away. Kill the insects and the lizards leave. Check out this article it may have some good information for you. http://www.bugspray.com/article/reptiles.html

Try strewing some moth balls..I know they repel snakes and lizards are reptiles like snakes.

I have heard that peocock feathers repel lizards. So, what I can suggest is you buy peacock feathers and decorate them on your home walls. That will prevent lizards coming to your home.

Peacock feathers dont work. What to speak of repelling, the lizards crawl on feathers comfortably.

Yes, Peacocks are right. But then you dont need to a pet a peacock. Get some peacock feathers in your house. They are enough to repel the lizards away.

I would say, from what I have heard.. if you keep a strends of wings of the peacock then it frightens away the lizards as peacock eats them. but never experimented. I use a stick to frighten themaway or some time kill them when they really irritates me.
