Just for another option =) Well since America is in the midst of crisis again and some hospitals there are currently on lay off mode. Canada, Europe and Australia has some slightly tough requirements. Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan just needed some few foreign healthcare providers. And now, most of our co-nurses goes to Saudi Arabia or Middle East. I tried to search about the requirements but I can't find any. The second reason is because, when I was still working at bank before, a guy was trying to apply for a credit card and I saw his COE and payslips, obviously I forgot the name of the province but I am sure that it was addressed to a government hospital that is located at South Africa. Anyway, since I was a Credit Analyst before, I am obliged to see his monthly salary and other personal bank info. I was shocked to see that his monthly salary was just my basic annual salary. =) I am just looking for another option since most nurses now go to Saudi Arabia, why not go to places that isn't common today. =) PS: Is it true that salary of nurses at Saudi is somewhat the same or only slightly higher than the minimum pay here in the Philippines? I just heard it from someone I knew.

It depends actually of the institution where you are in. In the middle east they get higher pay when they are in government hospitals, however in the private hospitals, they get lower wage and is almost the same but still a bit higher with the regular employees here in the Philippines. south Africa sounds interesting too. I think you will get higher pay there under UNiCEF don't you think? I think it is possible to go there and easy to adapt the community in terms of language since they were once British colonies.regarding the requirements, I am not sure with it but there was one time i looked on the website of naukri.com, they were hiring nurses for s. africa but i wasn't interested, so, i didn't look on the profile and its requirements. I hope you can find a job there.
