Ive always wanted to make my own webpage but it would have taken me way too long to figure it all out . There are free programs out there, but it sounds SO complicated with all the codes you have to write that I gave up. Well not anymore, sounds like someone, out there has been listening to my prayers. There is now a program that will help you make your own webpage without writing any complicated code. Its free!! So well worth a try I'll say. Do you make your own webpages? Do you find it easy to do or are you like me, not able to learn it all? What do you think about this program? http://majorgeeks.com/Adobe_Muse_d7131.html

What you see is what you get - type programs are garbage. You HAVE to write your own HTML code! What you see on your computer isn't what I see on my computer. What you see in IE isn't what you see in Firefox and nothing like what you see in Chrome or Opera or a dozen other browsers. Strict XHTML fully validated is required.

I guess I should feel stupid now because I did spend more time trying to learn it and I felt overwhelmed by it all. I'll keep in mind that it might not show in all browsers. Thanks for the

Most of these programs produce bloated code that only runs well in one browser and may look quite different in another. XHTML takes about six to eight hours to learn for the average person.

So far I haven't wanted to make my own webpage ,even if I am envious of others' webpage. As you have known,I am not all that strong in this respect. And again,I don't know what's the use of my own webpage.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you . Im the same, I wouldnt really know what to say on my webpage but thought it would be nice to have one where I could share my recipes or paintings with others. But its no rush for me. Maybe if you have things you make, you could take pictures and post them on your webpage to share with friends and family....but if you dont see the need for it, then theres no rush to learn is there?

The same with me, I am sorry! You know,I am not strong in English so I am slow in writing comments or responses .This is why I have made fewer friends. As to private network, even though I don't have a mind to do that now, but I think It comes in handy learning a little at present.

I use webs.com and it's fine for me. I don't know html and don't have a desire to learn. Webs.com is easy to make I have no complaints.

I think writing webpage code is half the fun. I'll admit it's exhausting because it can take a lot of code to make something small, but I enjoy writing code and seeing that code come to life. I love to learn, create, and watch my creation grow. I'm not that good, but I know basics. And, from that... I've learned to do so much. It's actually fun for me if I'm bored and want something to do. It can be time consuming, but that's half the fun too. Sometimes I get lost in creating something I don't always realize how much time has actually gone by. Which is where the exhaustion plays a role. I get engrossed in something for long enough, the world around me doesn't exist. Bad I know, but still.

Lucky you to be able to understand how it all works. I wish I had the time to get into it but I dont. Sounds like you wont need that program then since you enjoy code so much....good for you!! and no, its not bad !!

well frankly speaking I don't want to share the fun of writing codes for my own web pages with any software. I just love to write code and run it, and each time it runs i just get more excited. Its like you are creating a project on your own and slowly its starts working and finally you can see that project running and getting huge appreciation. I used to make web pages using some software before, though they are very easy way to make web pages. I think it does not give so many option to make a good experiment with your own webpage.

I can read codes but I don't hav ehte patience to write one. This is the reason why I love blogger and wordpress. A little touch up here and there and you would have a decent webpage that suits your preference. Plus with all the tools available with these two servers, the time consuming process becomes easy as 1-2-3.
