Viruses come from the Internet as the Most viruses, posted on the online forms and different names and the latest intelligence to Most viruses put the name of the actor who love name of the virus and when you search for the representative's name in Google and opened the sites do not know and is not trusted, know that your injury, many of the viruses
Viruses also come through the USB of the transfer from one device to another and also through CD's and through a lot of things
To protect yourself from viruses, should get a strong Anti-Virus, including Kasper Sky
Or if you do not have the Internet do not use unreliable discs and USB drives

It does really get very disturbing and frustrating when the computer gets the virus attacks. These days, I am using Norton Antivirus, and that is working very well. Yes, I do have to have the system scanned and cleaned regularly. I do that atleast once a week.

I am very impressed with your post. The question is how to protect our computer from viruses. There are viruses not only in internet, it may also in USB, DVD/CD etc as you said earlier. One thing I understand is that most of the viruses are made by Anti- virus product companies. They make new viruses and provide their anti-viruses in order to sell their products. So I think it is better to use Anti- Viruses software.I use Eset Smart Security 4 and update each day. What do you think?

The most common way to get infected is having a high-speed internet connection. And, protecting yourself doesn't always work. Because the market is flooded with people trying to make money off their software by planting virouses on your system and claiming to "fix" it. And, with many ways to connect, a seemingly impossible task comes even easier. Though with Wi-fi and unsecure networks the viruses coming from portibale deviceses is non-existent and rare to boot. Sounds to me you're talking, but you aren't sure what point you're trying to make.
The only way a portiable device like a USB drive can infect your computer is if it became infected from another sorce. Most USB devices are blank and are used to store data transfering info from one computer to another. So if someone loaded an infected file, chances are you're safe. USB devices aren't sold with known viruses or bugs. Same go for DVD/CDs. Seriously where are you getting your information from?
