LOtters,
I still have a Google account, in fact I just change my email notification from yahoo to google alike to make that gmail look useful once in a while taking all mylot notifications.
Fews days ago there was a discussion that i made about some mylotters saving their topics in the PC and printing it. i received lots of responses and one mentioned i can just transferred it to my blog. in this regards i might follow that persons advice and transfer it to my blog.
Who knows some might read my topics there. haha

I have a blog about myLot and I have transferred some of my first topics there after I posted them here years ago. The TermsofUse state clearly that we can do so.
One of my topics appears on several other sites too after others asked my permission to use it. I have also seen blogs where users link to some of my topics and that is within the Terms to. Basically what we post, if it is our own owrk, is then ours to do whatever we want with.

Hello Aunt D. That means am right, but there's a problem though, those people who are conducting plagiarist acts by copying OUR discussion and posting it in their blog as their own. but i guess i'd better 
start posting mine from now on before any one else tries to steal my ideas, i don't like it when some one steal my ideas, views or experiences. have a nice day

I am little confused.. MysD already cleared above that we can use our own discussions anywhere.. So you have mentioned about transferring them. So is it mean you will copy paste them on your blog ???? And can we also take the responses of that discussion ??

As I explained above, the responses are not YOUR work.
To avoid complications later, I advise to copy the topic, which IS yours and then add a link to the discussion itself so that the responses can be seen. Doing it that way, no-one can accuse you of copying their work (the responses).
In the TermsofUse myLot tell us that they can use our discussions and indeed they do. They appear on many sites which belong to myLot and maybe the political site that you mention Letran is one of them.

Hello akp100, Yes it's possible because I have seen some political discussion blogs that is actually a mylot discussion copy paste on a political website, even the comments and responses were put there as well. make sure it connects here and your site. since, it's a good idea i'd probably have to commence copy them to my blog with in the next few days. have a nice day

In case that is correct, Wont that be a kind of piracy?
I am not sure about the MyLot rules on this but yes, if that can be done, I am sure, it is going to do wonders on the blog.

Hello thesids, you can clarify this with this admin but the rules is the other way around, we can't transfer our discussions here from the blogs with out putting some link. that would be copywriting or plagiarism. but since it's mine to my blog there's no problem to it. the problem is that there are people who copy mylot discussions and puts it in the blog. i guess i should put mine before some one else does it.have a nice day

I've actually had similar thoughts along the line of what your thinking? Is it o.k. to do this? I'm not sure what mylots rules are either. But yeah if it works then that sounds really good. How long have you had your blog up and going?

Hello dominique, I wanted to save some discussions before they are piled up in que of dicussions here. besides, am lazy when it comes to blogging, i might as well transfer my blog there instead of making blogs or discussions there. i guess i should asked the admin about it, a mylotter did this when she was active. have a nice day

That is a great idea, but I think you should place the original link as the source of discussions
Because when it is called a discussion, then there must be more than 1 person involved. So, I think you need to place the original link of MyLot to respect another members that involved in a discussion

Hello varier, I will consider that too knowing that it can't be copied by any one else. am sure that there are other plagiarisers out there who would steal our work and posted it on another site. anyways, you can do it, alright, good and have a nice day

That's very nice and interesting ideas. I haven't got this kind of plan yet. Since most of the time, my time to online is limited so i only saved interesting discussions into my removable drive. I might consider to begin one new blog just for this purpose in the near future. Very nice suggestion, my friend...

I've used bits and pieces of myLot conversations in mine. I have not tried posting a whole conversation, I don;t want to lose my membership if in case it's in violation of the terms. Never did any research about it though, maybe you can find out then share with us if it's ok or not.
