How long a person is happy in his life on average?

I can not ever feel into others, so I can refer the question more on myself. When I use the moments of happiness to my life end up counting (very roughly on strike - what else can I do!), I would probably just under three years of happy. Constantly I am never happy. It depends on the state of mind (whether you like yourself) and then also on what one makes of his life. It is not necessarily the financial situation ("money" - really - not "everything).
Once remarked casually to me people are happier in my area often before. But as I said I could only guess how long they will be happy in their lives.
For humanity in general I would appreciate? To 2-4 years, such as mine.
