Being a lady is too much pressure for me. Why? Because you have to look good all the time. And since that Filipinas like me are born morena, I was obsessed on using beauty products that will make my skin lighter than before. I was born petite and it makes me sick to know that most of the men here in the world wants mestiza looking and has a slim figured body. I don't look at it as a problem but when I see the beauty products placed in my closet I realized my insecurity... How can I deal with it?

Persons who are insecure incline to have low self-confidence. Work on cultivating it if that specific reason is upsetting you and it can make you feel better about yourself as a person. Always trust that you are different and unique from other persons. Stop finding mistakes with you by relating with other people. So, learn to appreciate the assets that you have and get support from friends or family.

Hey, don't you know that morena girls are appreciated abroad? Don't be insecure! There's nothing to be insecure about being morena, most people nowadays appreciate that color. And actually, you are much luckier, I am insecure about my nose. Most people told me I have pango nose. Now what do you want to have? Be fair skinned but pango? or be morena but with an okay nose? Pango noses are not appreciated even abroad!

I admit it i am insecure with my body. My bf always gets mad when i feel that way. I am 5.1 and chubby and have a lot of stretchmarks cause of obesity. Sometimes my bf told me that i am fat, short legs...etc... For him its a test for me. I told him it doesnt help... i also use a lot of products to make me whiter and also spend too much money on it. i am also a filipina too. but now i only use olay white. it doesnt mean that if you dont use whitening products you will net be lghter. try olay or dove i am sure your skin will be radiant. its not healty for the skin if you want it to get whiter more than your natural color. its hard to maintain and it will costs you so much money. but now i get tired of being insecure. so i try work on it and just tell myself i am beautifutl.

Honestly, I'm always trying to work on it. Since that I was born morena I usually used papaya soap and using different whitening agents to make my skin lighter. Plus I make it a point to get some make-up on before going out to work. I see to it that I maintain my figure since I already have 3 kids but happy to say most of the people who saw me tells me that I look like never had kids. LOL what a compliment :) God bless you guys

I think building your self confidence and just liking and accepting yourself is most important. Use make-up because you want to or don't use it. No one can ever please 100% of the world, so why not do what you feel good about? Someday you will meet someone who likes you just the way you are. Then you will feel true security:)

Hi mitchikoyo0305, Love your color. Be proud of your color. Many people would go to the beach and stay under the sun to get that lovely tan. Whereas you, you already have it. Eat the right kinds of food, especially vitamin-rich foods. It keeps the skin healthy and glowing. Try lemon(juice) mixed with the water you use for the bath. You can use this to rinse your body as you finish soaping it. Its a good cleanser and makes your skin glow too. Its not expensive and it promotes natural beauty.
