I have visited Singapore three times and love it there. I recommend the shopping streets for some bargains, Sentosa which is a man made island and the national park. There is a fine for feeding monkeys so that isn't to be done. I liked seeing the merlion statue in the harbor. I hope that you will have a fantastic time in lovely Singapore.

I am a Singaporean.:) When do you plan to visit my country? It depends on what you like and your budget. I would recommend Pulau Ubin. It's not on the main island but it's easy to go there by ferry. You should visit Orchard Road if you enjoy shopping cos it's a shopping paradise. Singaporeans basically love to eat and so it's not difficult to find restaurents or other eateries anywhere you go. If you love to eat, then you might want to visit Geylang. However, if you are travelling alone and if you are a gal, then it may not be advisable to go there cos that's a redlight district. You may want to visit Chinatown and Little India. Oh yes, if you are a food lover, you should visit Tanjong Pagar. There are a number of well-known food stalls there. It's easy to take the MRT (train service) and you can visit almost all parts of Singapore just by taking the MRT. In some places, including some shopping malls, there are free shuttle buses that you can take. There are bus services after midnight in certain locations. You can check out the following websites for more information, including information on MRT: www.smrt.com.sg and www.sbstransit.com.sg. I would advise against travelling by cab (Here in Singapore, we call it 'taxi'.) because many cab drivers are not honest. They will try to take a longer route in order to charge you more, for instance. It's generally safe to travel alone anywhere in Singapore (except the redlight districts). However, if you are a gal, it's better to exercise caution when travelling alone in Singapore. There are a lot of foreign workers here (I am not referring to expats.) and some of them might prey on you (if you are a gal) if they know that you are a tourist (and if you don't look like a local). For Singaporean gals, it's literally safe to go anywhere after midnight (except the redlight districts). I have ever gone out alone after 3am to pick my sis up. Enjoy your stay in Singapore!:)

i have been to Singapore 5 years ago but still i will share it ok. when you go there you should visit: Night Safari- it is insanely incredible there. you can see wild animals walking near you when you ride the tramp. but be sure to keep your cellphone off and dont make any noise cause you may not know what this animals could do. there is also a show for talented animals but make sure that your seats dont have snakes hiding under. you also try their food its nice. Sentosa island is very big and there are many things to do and see. dont forget to watch the fountain show. i think one day is not enough when you go there Jurong bird park is a must see too. they have show were the birds can basketball, skate board and throw trash to the right bins. Try there night life and dont be hesitant to eat there streets food because it is delicious. but the food that you shouldnt miss is the CHILLI CRAB WITH FRIED BUNS. dont order anymore just that you will be satisfied. Hope it helps

sentosa is a place you must have a tourism where has many attractions such as beautiful beatch with blue sea, the world of sea ground and universal etc.you should prepare a swimming tool becase you would be very excited to dive to the sea when seeing the clean and beautiful sea, there is a saying that you can't say you have been to singapore if you have not been to sentosa. another place i want to recommnd is marina bay where you can see the lion spitting water to the sea and the sky park where you can see all singapore view when the sun down.
