The earth is not only a planet,it's our home!

I am very keen on traveling to different countries in the world. As an independent traveler I stay at locally owned guest houses and spend my money in the communities. I have been watching a program called "Holiday Hijack" and it in I have found out tourists throw their rubbish away and it is a problem for the developing countries. So far it has featured the Gambia, Cancun in Mexico and the Maldives. Tourists should take back home their plastic bottles to recycle in their home country. I will being that on future travels. At home I do much recycling of plastics, cans, paper, card, tins and cuttings from my garden. I send food scraps to be composted. I have a car but I only passed my practical driving test last year. I drive for local journeys like taking my disabled son for a hospital appointment this morning. For long distance travel I take the train and the bus when it is wheelchair accessible. I use less water by using saving water shower. I never have dropped rubbish. I have always used a bin.
