woops! 'there is no short cut to success' this was said by my rival in my academe long time ago. but she said, 'there is no short cut to success so one must climb for it'
but she climbed it the wrong way because she hurt a lot of people when she paid the teachers to get her on the top students in class and dropped the ones from the list

Yep! This is quite true! To efficiently achieve your goals, one's efforts should be focused on that goal only and any disruptions should be put away. The principle of always giving your best in every thing you do is the best way to go. Being competitive helps you to focus on trying to achieve. But of course, as your quote can be interpreted, one must start to try out the unknown first before knowing the unknown itself. The very first step to success is trying then followed by focusing on the goals you want to achieve. Very nice quote in there arlerambabu!
