Competition grow further more in tablet pc section. An indian firm Lakshmi Access communications Systems is going to launch tablet computer for $99. It will be a 4.3 inch screen computer working on Andriod system. Guys tell me what do u think about that offer. Company CEO is looking it as option of laptop like people are using mobile in place of land line phones. And stay tuned for next update for TABLET PC in indian market b'cause its tablet raining in indian market.

I also the news related to tablet in India. Recently Beetel has introduced the tablet worth rs 10000. What do you think, why they focusing on Indian market. I first reason would be population. India is the second largest populated country in the world and counts to nearly 121 crores. Secondly India is the one of the largest exporter of softwares and also largest outsourcing projects are done. Many companies are engaged in tablet because there wil innovated product to be released in the world. I hope so.

I heard that too. But u got to look at spec. of that machine. It is 7 inch screen with two cameras, and 3G too. It is for urban people not for rural folks. Remember India's 80% population lives in rural area.

99$ for a tablet thats realy cheap if it is any good i will definetly get one now i can't wait to get this one because i haven't gotten a table tyet since i think there to expensive for sumthing so small and with such little power compared to laptops. But this might change my mind i will definetly keep an eye on this item.

I can't say I'm surprised. In fact it won't be long before this becomes the hotest new thing. Technology downsizing. While laptops won't be completely replaced, the damand will shift to tablets to do what laptops used to do. Which in turn will cause costs to drop as the demand for them will lesson, and their overall value decresses.
