As kids grow up, of course, boys will be boys and girls will be girls. When do you think should you give your son and daughter separate rooms?

I think around the age of 7. For one thing, they are more aware of gender differences.

Hi there! As early as 4 or As soon as they become independent and responsible we can already separate them but it also depends for the kid, even if he already reach the age wherein we gonna separate him but he doesn't like the idea so better let him stay but then find ways or talk to him about it.

Girls and boys should have their own room when they reach the puberty stage. Puberty is from age 9 to 12 and adolescent stage follows. At this stage, girls and boys undergo series of biophysical changes in their body and each of them should know how to take care of their bodies. Boys needs at this time is different than the girls. Aside from these changes, they should also know how to keep their room orderly asthey are slowly becoming adult. At this stage, parents has a very important role in guiding their children cope with the changes in their whole being.
