Beastly(Modern beauty and the beast?)

what do you think of the movie? I just watched it and they said the movie is a modern version of beauty and the beast with a twist of vanity and true love.

Beastly, I thought would have been better suited as a TV movie. It is better than some movies I have seen though. It had the potential to be so good because Beauty and The Beast is a truly good story but it became so bogged down by the over dramatic teen aspect I think.

i have to agree with you that it has a potential but the heaviness of teen drama does seem to be heavier than expected.

Beastly is a good modern adaptation of beauty and the beast, I liked watching this film. Alex Pettyfer & Vanessa Hudgens played well as the beauty and the beast ...

I loved the movie- the lead characters Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Alex pettyfer had good chemistry. I liked how he transformed from this obnoxious dude to a shy guy who asks for advice on how to get a girl.
