just a quick one dear fellow mylotters, i am just wondering why there are some people who does not really admit offenses. as he or she will continue to deny it up to the last minute. as the result, both parties will suffer the consequences. just like what I have seen this morning, an argument between a cab driver and a traffic enforcer. wherein, according to the traffic enforcer, the driver violates some rules in getting passenger. the traffic enforcer chase the driver for his licence then but the driver refused to as according to him, he was at the right picked-up point. due to this reason, they have end up in an argument that lead them to be brought inside a police station for some explanation and investigation. and the end result, the passengers got scared and the travel time have caused a delay. only if those people had exercised their patience, perhaps situations like this will not be happen anymore.

I guess these types of things are normal not only in the Filipino culture but with other society as well. We do not want to admit that we are wrong and our pride adds another fuel to it. The more the conversation goes, the more heated it becomes, if only people could put down their pride and just settle their differences, no confrontation would ever happen.

good day goggles213, in this world of ours, perhaps, we should promote patience instead of using our pride. as being patient has a lot of advantages rather than using our pride.

When you're workng as a driver carrying the passengers, i believe most would loose patience because they need to earn more for their journey to pay the boundery. i have been a commuter for as long as i can remember that if they have almost full of passengers they will and drop the passenger as fast as they could s that they can travel fast enough to get another passenger.. but the driver may have been at fault, who knows.

In cases like this I would say good luck to the commuters. This is then time where we can truly appreciate if there are CCTVs placed in the area so that everything can be settled right away.

Hello aira, It's either the driver is lying trying to save himself from paying for fee or license or the traffic officers wants some money for lunch? which do you think is telling the truth. but from my experience as communter, the drivers don't know when to park on the right place. but we never sure about it. have a nice day

In the Philippines, there are too many rules. Why should there be pick up points? Can't a sidewalk be a good enough pick up point??? I mean, there's a reason why hazard signals are created and it SHOULD be understandable that taxi cabs have every reason to pull over and pick up a passenger, right? Also, the police and public transportation SHOULD just GET ALONG. Please lang. Please lang po.

i think cab drivers should have some exception, those people are driving the whole day and when they get any passenger they have to stop where passenger is standing, whether its a right spot or not. And yes patience should be practiced, but these days, people are losing patience, I hardly see any one exercising patience.

Well for some people patients doesn't come easy or nartualy but has to be grown and evolved over time and then there are just some people who never learn patient through out there entire life. But then mabey this guy is patient but was just having a terrible day and his pateints reached a limit and could not take it anymore and that's why he lashed out at the police officer
