Has anybody hear used olive oil for their beauty regimen. I just searched the internet on recipes using olive oil and I was bombarded with all the health and beauty benefits of olive oil. Have you consider using olive oil as part of your beauty regimen?

Extra virgin olive oil or virgin olive oil are a good organic oil. I used this on my salad dressing and ever cooking (saute and or fry) But never tried for beauty regimen, he he he

I do. I mix a bit of olive oil to my lotion at night after my shower and before I go to sleep. It makes my skin stay soft. 2x a month, I mix olive oil, shower cream and coffee grounds (I got this for free at starbucks) then use the mixture as a body scrub. 1x a month, I apply olive oil on my hair then put it up in a bun using a pin, I let it stay for 30 minutes before I shampoo it all off. My mother-in-law actually drinks 1 teaspoon of olive oil everyday because she saw on TV that it helps in lowering the blood cholesterol & protection against arthritis. =)

The use of olive oil for beauty purposes is so old that many years ago I read about the ancient people using it in the National Geographic Magazine. I always forget creams and oils and people once in a while give me awesome creams as presents. There they are: I should use them. Who knows? Maybe they will do something.

No, it smells so bad! I don't even like cooking with the stuff, and I'm in a country that produces a hell of a lot of it!

Personally I have not enjoyed before. This is a nice idea. Maybe I will look on the net. Still does not smell and is not so greasy. Have a nice day!
