Anyone knows what are 4D movies all about?

I recently came across a banner promoting a new movie releasing this month. Spy Kid 4.. Though am not much into kid adventure genre, however there was something that caught my eye. It said "in 4D". I am not very sure what does that mean? Is it the first ever 4D movie? Am a big fan of 3D movies but 4D is really new to me.
Do you know what they are all about? I would love to know. I might even go for that movie.

It shouldn't be a joke. They have been promoting it bigtime. I hope it is not a joke. I am really excited to try 4D :)
I guess the SMELL thing is correct. I heard people say you actually smell what's on the screen. Let's see.
Waiting for more comments. Hopefully will get to see the movie soon. CHEERS

Hey I did saw that 4D movie. Though the movie was Good. The 3D part was average. And the 4D smell thing was pathetic. What they actually did was gave a piece of paper with numbers 1 to 8. And during the movie they would flash a number on the screen and you would have to scratch that number and smell that paper.
Honestly, I felt all the 8 numbers had the same smell. Hahahaha! Also to search the exact number in dark was pain in the butt.
Anyway, hopefully technology will move forward and give us much better experience of 4D :)

4-D Fim is a marketing term that describes a entertaimnet presentatiosn system cobining a 3-D file with physical effect in the theatre, which occur is synchronization with the film. Because the physical effects can be expensive to install, 4-d films are usually presented only at special venues such as theme parks and amusement parks,.

i thik it's jock. 3D Minis we see tha pic. at X. Y. Z. angle at a same time you see. it's not at presten 4D. can not see four angel at a single time.
