What Important to Other People is Not Important to Us

Sometimes, we perceived and we knew some of the things were given to us were not that important. For example, a drawing of a seven and eight years old kid that look like a 'scratch' and so, we got no interested to a drawing of a seven and eight years old kid, but for them, the drawings are very important to them. It happened to me once when I am looking desparately for a 'scratch paper' to jot down the important information from the internet. I found a piece of 'scratch paper' on my table and then, I got it and started to jot down all the important details on a 'scratch paper' from the internet. Days had passed, my cousin who was an eight years old at that time started to whine. The reason is she found her drawing full of written details. She told me that her drawing is very important to her and she really looks hurt. Well, I didn't know that, because her drawing looks like a 'scratch paper' to me. Maybe she misplaced her drawing somewhere and it happened that she put it on my table. I didn't know that its important to her. Have you ever encounter this kind of situation? -- or any kind of situation, not only on drawings and do you feel guilty? -- because you thought that its not important to you, but to other people is very important and you made it a mess. I feel guilty about it and all I could say at that time is I'm sorry, because I didn't know that its her drawing and I thought, its a 'scratch paper' -- because it looks like a 'scratch paper'.
