I'm stumbling right now but am having no problems with it. But what you are experiencing is what I've also experienced before.
Just take a rest for now and continue stumbling later my friend. SU is sometimes experiencing some technical problems because of the traffic they're having. May I ask if you've already downloaded their toolbar?

I have never encountered this issue.. I also use SU mobile when on the road..
And also su.pr to publish my website to twitter. It will boost up SU views very fast..

It is advices to logout of account and try to login and then submit your fav site.
IF it not work then either remove all the cookies and delete the cache of your browser or just del the one specific to StumbleUpon.
I think then it will work fine
