I love coffee and I drink at least 5 cups a day. But I don´t driink other liquids with caffeine, such as Coca Cola, tea and the like. When I drink tea (once in a while) it is instead of coffee.

I was amazed when I went to Colombia that they drink hot coffee to cool down in Summer. I like cold drinks and fruit juices with lots of ice.

Well, I could drink coffee all day long. It has no affect on me. Other then I like my coffee strong. So we go through 2-3 containers of coffee a month. I don't know how much you pay for coffee but here Folgers Classic Medium Roast is about $11 a container. I can hardly believe the price. The price just keeps climbing. I'm not sure why. I guess I should stop drinking coffee. But I enjoy my coffee, Mylot and news every morning. I suppose drink a lot of coffee can be bad. But I'm in good health and I've been drink coffee for years. Best Wishes!

Coffee has caffeine which is an addictive substance. This explains why your husband and many people are addicted to coffee. And yes dear coffee is not at all good. It will suck up all the calcium in one's bones through constant consumption. I wonder why people love to be addicted this way.

I’ve recently heard that three cups of coffee a day is actually good for us in regards to combatting cancers and heart disease but I am not so sure about any more than that! I am a coffee addict; I love the stuff and I am not sure how many I would drink in a day, all I know is that it is definitely more than three. The way I look at it is that I am healthy, I don’t drink or smoke, I eat good food and drink a little too much coffee, so be it. I think it depends on your husband’s overall health whether too much coffee is bad for him or not. I think there are certainly worse things he could be having.

Oh, your husband is a coffee addict. But it was broadcast before on TV that drinking at least 2 cups of coffee in a day will benefit the liver. Coffee was found out to be an anti-oxidant. But i guess having too much of it, won't make you sleep early at night .

Maybe he has pressure but anyway, anything should be appropriate,so i just advice that you'd better help him to reduce the amount of coffee he drank.Too much coffee could also raise other diseases.Just take care.

While it is true that there can be some health effects to too much coffee, for the most part people can figure that out on their own. One of the ways this happens is that the more caffeine we consume, the less consistent and reliable is the caffeine buzz. Coffee drinking is enjoyable, but it is also a habit. Sometimes the habit is fueled by the social aspects of drinking coffee. Let me know when you have a fresh pot on!

Yes, coffee can be very addictive too. I drink many cups a day starting from breakfast time. But, these days, I have to keep it under control because drinking too much coffee, especially strong coffee, aggravates my blood pressure. I have now changed to decaffinated coffee. Atleast, that is better for me.

me and my wife drinks coffee three times a day. sometimes two it depends on what the weather is. when the weather is cool then we drink three times a day. when i am at work people at work drink coffee too but when i had my third cup at home i no longer drink at work. if i only drink two cups at home then i will get another cup at work. to much of anything is bad so i limit myself up to three cups only. too much can lead one to sickness and if too much it causes addiction already.

I guess some people are just addicted to caffeine! I mean, I know I am! I had an energy drink this morning, drinking an iced coffee now, and I will probably have some diet soda (with caffeine) later tonight to keep me going...LOL. It's an addiction and you start to rely on it to wake up! It's pretty sad, but what can you do? (Besides quit..ANd you know, quitters never win..)

Hi ja hernandez rivas: I drink at least a cup of coffee everyday and yes it has its bad effects. Coffee contains coffeine which is addictive. It happends with some other things. When you eat too much something it will have negative effects on you. However, my grandparents and my parents are big fans of coffee and they don't have health problems because of that. ALVARO

Too much of anything is not good for our health. I am one of those big time coffee drinkers. Though I do drink decaffeinated, I drink loads of it daily and no matter what the weather is like I have to have coffee too. While my boyfriend at times on hot days only wants icy cold colas I prefer the hot coffee, lol. I use to drink regular coffee but found that I was a nervous wreck all the time, I do realize there is some caffeine in decaf, I tend not to be so nervous like I was when I drank the regular kind.

Too much coffee is never good for health. If you like coffee, remember to drink more water as coffee dehydrate you. Also, take decaffeinated ones if you can...

I guess your husband and maybe you are coffee addicts. Coffee actually, is a good source of anti-oxidants and since it contains, caffeine it is a stimulant that's why a lot of people are taking it so that they won't fall asleep. Coffee is also a diuretic - so expect that you go back and forth to have a bladder break. Anyway, the side effects of coffee as I experienced it myself, are tremors and palpitations. I used to drink a lot of coffee too. I could consume 2-3 cups/glass in a day - hot/cold/iced coffee. After drinking for some time, I could really sense mild to moderate tremors on my hands like it is really visible shaking and at the same time, faster breathing and heartbeat. So, I suggest that try to limit coffee intake as much as possible.

Researches state the so many advantages of coffee and some say that 2 to four cups of coffee is a maximum for the day. Me and my hubby also drink a lot. We drink coffee and tea alternately. Too much of something is bad but I don't think 4 cups of coffee in a day won't harm. As long as you also drink water, I guess you are safe.
