Kristen started playing Starr at the age of 6. She is one of very few actors who has played a character from a young child to an adult(both character and actor) continuously with character never being SORASed(soap opera rapid aging). Kristen is now about 20(is or will be later this year).

I think she is wonderful. I hope she is able to find a job after the show wraps up. I am not feeling confident or hopeful about this supposed internet deal. Actually, when she first started on the show, I wanted to reach through the screen and slap her little face or spank her bottom. She was so hateful! I guess that means she was a good actress to get such a strong response. I think Kimberly McCullogh is the only actress to play Robin Scorpio on GH. Although, she did take some time off and did some other things.

Kristen's brother who plays Mathew has been on almost as long in the same role up till the present brain injury story line.

Very true. As an aside, It is amazing what makeup can do. Every picture of him I have seen in soap magazines, you can clearly see a portwine birthmark by his eye, but I have never noticed it on the show.

I believe the longest has been Susan Lucci who is Erica Kane in "All My Children".Susan began to portray the character of Erica in 1970 when she was 14.That is 41 years.The age fourteen is a young teenager.

Yeah, shes been there a long time. She was a little twit as a little girl, but she learned that from daddy! I have always liked her tho. ANd she has done so well. Sorry to see her go

No, Starr's Father Todd is the one Jack calls Scarface. He raised her for 8 years, then went missing after he left Tea on that island. THen the new Todd(Victor) came around for the last 8 years. The Todd/Victor... his only bio child is Sam.. of whom he never talks about and have you notice, we never see and they have hardly mentioned him when Todd/Victor talks about his children and they are HIS children etc. But Sam in his, not Todd/Todd's. But Jack and Starr are Todd/Todd's

I really love Kristen and I am sorry that the show is going off.I will truly miss that show and character of Starr.Kristen's brother,Eddie, plays the part of Matthew Buchannan.He was the third person to portray that part,but still as a child.He started the part on May 10, 2001.I will miss him too.
