I live in a democratic country. But until now as i observe, people are suffering from poverty in our country. There are so many corruptions that happen. I'm not blaming just the government. I also blame the people who in return did not participate. For you is it the type of government we had? if that so! What would be the best type of government we should adapt? Types of Government: 1. Democratic 2. Republic 3. Monarchy 4. Aristocracy 5. Dictatorship 6. Democratic Republic

Hello friend, I am also living in a democratic country. I think all the types you mentioned are not suitable. Once they got power to develop a country but now they lost their power here. I think that a new type of system should develop for this method. The one where everyone should be able to get punished if he did a mistake not liable of his position etc. The type where all people have equal rights and where every thing can be utilized keeping in mind of the future. We need that type of system.

I agree to that. I think dictatorship is the best option.

In dictatorship if the dictator commits something wrong he cannot be punished. I am not talking about that. I am saying about a perfect system where he can also be punished as per laws. I think you have to reconsider your strategy.

According to Plato, in order to have a perfect system there should be a "Philosopher king" who can govern the society. But that is beyond imagination to have a philosopher king.

I say the Democratic type is still the best, freedom of expression, freedom to reap the fruits of my labor, freedom to grow, freedom to make mistakes and learn from them.

I live in a democratic country. There are some problems you've mentioned.I feel the moment people are better educated and understand their rights and duties, democracy is the best form of government. There is no point blaming the government for all our difficulties. We should interact with our representatives and get those laws which are beneficial to the people at large passed. There should be a high degree of honesty and hard work in the people. If after that people do not get what they deserve they have a right to question their representatives.Democracy is the best form of governance as people can air their views and decision making is a consultative process.
