I am trying to read about this topic. we have a scheduled festival where this is offered as part of the ticket we bought. I read reviews on others, and well i'd say i am still not convince as to the purpose of this activity. But i am curious... What can it do, what will happen after a session... I am wondering what it would be like to be able to know the past... But There is some fear in me of not wanting to try this, it just might open doors to the unknown and that would freak me out. hehe I hope some mylotters who have tried and has idea can share their insights please?

I think the term past life regression refers to a life one has personally lived in the past. Having had such experiences I think it's safe to say - at least for me - that those past lives were not necessarily my own. I've been in different situations and I think they were triggered by thoughts I was pondering about at the time. When I had those experiences they felt damn real and usually I was very frightened because of what I experienced. But I didn't have the impression that I was looking through my own eyes...

Hi chiyosan, One of my friends were very interested in this a few years back and she shared with me her experience. According to her, it does not work for everybody. I think it works for about 90% of the people, and only if they believe in it. If your mind is very fixed that it will not work, or it's fake, it will definitely not work at all. There are a lot of information on this topic online, you can read more from these sites: http://www.lifeafterlife.com/ http://www.brianweiss.com/ http://www.childpastlives.org/ I have read a few of the books mentioned in the websites and have found them to be interesting and the stories sound quite authentic to me. I believe it myself and wouldn't mind trying it out, but it's so expensive. It would be good to get someone reliable to do the regression.

You're right, it doesn't work for everyone. You need to be receptive to the idea that there are even past lives. You need to believe. You also need to be able to clear your mind of everything. All the days stress and conflicts. You kind of have to put your mind in a meditative state. Even though I believe, I don't think it would work for me. I have a hard time clearing my mind of the days events. I have a hard time meditating as well. My mind constantly races a thousand miles an hour and it makes it hard to concentrate on certain images in my head. I dont' need to master the art of meditation, I just need to make a breakthrough. I think once that happens, I just might be able to see where I've been... as someone else.

Wow that's great! It's not so readily available in Australia and i would surely try it if it was included in my ticket! I think it's like hypnosis that takes you back beyond your years. I think the topic is very interesting and something i would like to reasearch to learn more about. I think the unknown will always be scary until we know.

Well, I believe in the past life regression. I guess I am just the type of person who likes to believe bizarre, paranormal and supernatural things. Well I use it really exist. One of the most interesting topic for me is past life regression. I'd like to find out who I was several years ago or maybe a hundered years ago or so. This might help understand why I am like this today and why I am here today. I guess the only thing that I hate about the unusual is the future. I don't like to find out what y future is cause I think it is just too scary. I have a friend that told me that there are some that are really good and by just looking at you she will find out who you were and what you are now.

Hi sister, Past life regression is a technique that uses hypnosis to make us remember our past lives or incarnations. In some religions, there is a belief that there is life after life, when we die in this life, we get reincarnated in another and another and another. So regression is a way of making us remember who or what we were in our past lives.

I haven't yet, but it is something I would like to do. I find the subject fascinating, and have a few scraps of what I beleive may be past life memories, and it would be interesting to find the bigger stories of the brief moments I remember.

I don't know, but i don't like to go back to what is past anymore. I am more interested in what the future will hold for me. And i know that my future lies in God's hands so ,i should have to do something to make it better.

I have never tried past life regression, but have always wanted to. For a long time, I've been interested in new age practices. But I'm not sure if PLR is more remembering a past life or hypnosis. I would say, tread lightly. Be certain of the practioner performing the service. I don't think any harm will come to you, but to truly experience PLR you'd want to be guided by someone who has experience.
