If you were to take a journey that would last an entire lifetime and you were given the option to bring an MP3 player, but with only five songs or pieces of music, which songs or pieces of music would you choose?

Interesting post I gotta say. Only limited to five though hah. I would say I would start of of course with Beethoven's 7th symphony. Then I would have to say The Beatles Eight Days A Week. I would follow that with Alabama's song Eighteen Wheeler. My fourth would be Slipknot's Wait and Bleed. and My final would be Stone Sour's Through Glass. That would span my genres and moods fairly well I think.

Questions like this are always begging for the impossible when directed at me! You can blame it too much exposure to too many different kinds of music and a tendency to interpret everything about everything through the various (and sometimes obscure) songs I know! Had you asked me this question when I was five years old I still would never be able to narrow it down to just five... I will give it my best shot though: 1. "The River" by Garth Brooks - This first one was a given, as it's my favorite song of all time. 2. My country's national anthem (which is "The Star Spangled Banner," written by Francis Scott Key) - Because I'm a patriot. I love my country, and I love those who fight and die for it. 3. "Everything Louder than Everything Else" by Meat Loaf - It is my "theme song." 4. "Saengerfest Waltz" by W.N. Grunewald - I don't suspect anyone has heard of this piece, but it was composed by my great-great grandfather and published by my great-great-great grandfather who was a pioneer in the American music industry. 5. "Roll Tide" by Hans Zimmer - Because of my heritage, I have a great admiration for German composers and find this to be a most versatile piece to choreograph dances to. I stumbled a bit, but hopefully this would turn out to be a decent selection!

the top 5 songs in my playlist are: 1. Hello by Martin Solveig and Dragonette - I like this party song.this basically tells my attitude about most things in life, that I enjoy doing things on my own terms and reasons.there is a line in the songs that says,"you're alright but I'm here darling to enjoy the party;don't get to excited 'cause that's all you'll get from me". 2. On the Floor by Jennifer Lopez - I love this song.this makes me wanna stand up and dance every time I heard it. 3. Run the World by Beyonce Knowles - I love songs about empowering women. 4. California Gurls by Katy Perry - this is a feel-good song that you can listen while relaxing by the beach. 5. Breathe by Prodigy - this song has an action-like feel to it.I use this song to encourage me to do physical activity.
