A Raleigh, W. Virginia man was gathering eggs from his hens when he and his wife did a double take. The egg they found is 2.1 centimeters, about the size of a penny. The smallest egg recorded by Guiness is 2.7 centimeters, so they might see if they can get it documented. The hen probably didn't even feel that one.

I wonder what will happen when they let the egg hatch.
Probably they become the owner of a new breed of smallest chicken in the world.
I wonder what is the commercial value of eggs if every chicken in the world starts to compete for the honor of laying smallest egg.
That will be very fun to watch.
If one hen can achieve the goal of laying pinhead size egg, that will be the day when we need to buy a hundred eggs just to make an omelette.

That is a good information. So small but so big and information, haha. Oh they should get it documented. Amazing, isn't it. I wonder how big the chick would be if they would wait for it to hatch.
