Failed to fill the cat food container

I just went to fill up the thing were we keep all the cat food and I put the tip of the bag into the container and startedb pouring it in. Who would have guess the bag was gonna bend and fall all onto the ground? Well not me. I had to sit on the ground and clean up over half of a large bag of cat food off the floor to put it away. It definatly made me feel pretty stupid, but I have to admit it was pretty flipping funny.

You have more patience then I do, sitting there and picking up all the pieces of cat food. That happened to me when I was pouring out some cat food. I got ticked off at myself, grabbed a broom and dust pan and scooped everything up to the trash. My kittys were enjoying the scene better than I was. They were just sitting there looking at me with a quizzical look their face. Ya, you're right, it was funny. Ah well. Now I use a large plastic container with a lid and handle. I pour the dry food the container and it makes it easier to pour. Now my sloppy pouring isn't quite as bad as it use to be. ;o)

Many years ago, Alpo came out with plastic Garfield container that was filled with dry cat food as a promotional item. It was so cute, I had to buy it. It has a lid and his tail is used as the handle. It also has a slot in the back that could be cut out if you want, to use it as a bank. Anyway, that's the container I now use for holding dry cat food. It holds the contents of a bag of cat food perfectly and it keeps it fresh. Now I don't have to struggle with the food spilling all over the place. I wish I can upload a photo to show you. He's so cute.
