Planking the best Abs exercise?

Have you tried the planking exercise? When I watching a television I heard from a news that this exercise really been a effective abs exercise one on the celebrity already tried this one.So I tried to do this exercise but I find it really hard because it involves your core strength. I tried to stay at around 10 counts but I can't I only have 5 counts but I felt really tired. So I guess this really a good exercise because it's really burns the calories faster

Hi xcyper! I have tried this exercise because I really want a smaller tummy. lol I also found it hard to do. It's difficult as it puts pressure on my arms and shoulders. But I can feel that it's really affecting the stomach muscles. I also tried to stay in that position for at least 10 counts, and the I will rest for at least 10 seconds and then do it again. That's three times every morning. But I already stopped doing it because it's really difficult and I'm worried that my arm muscles would grow bigger. lol

Yes I share the same feeling as yours this exercise really hard but effective . Hope I can also continue to do it so that I will have a sexy tummy. Hope we have this will to do it again. Good luck on us :)

I don't do it anymore but I still do some exercise to make my stomach slim. I do leg rise every morning and something which I do not know how it is called. But you do it while standing and then you move as if you are pulling something from above and while you do, you also step up your feet alternately.

i have not tried planking yet but i have read about it. now that our friends in mylot have also recommended doing it to tone our abs, i will also do it. i do have a big problem with my stomach because i loooooovveee to eat.. maybe this is the answer to my prayer.

I would say it is a good exersise when you do it make sure you let yoursself breath. I've been a gymnast for quite sometime and almosst all of my coaches have had us so it. You can definaly feel the burn.
