Chinese to use Thorium-based nuclear technology

I am not a scientist of any sort but I am passionate about only doing good in the world. When I read this I was thrilled to find that there is a solution to the spread of the vast amounts of highly dangerous nuclear fuel being produced. Thorium is more abundant than Uranium and, more importantly, cannot be used to make bombs! It can even burn up Plutonium and toxic-waste, reducing radio-toxicity by acting as a 'scrubber'. I feel like dancing around the room and hope that all 'Nuclear Countries' will soon follow their lead! Here is one useful link: www.technewsdaily.com/nuclear-power-thorium-future-2400/

As long as it is safer in the long run, I'll be content!
