I'd really love to have a dog but because of my schedule I couldn't keep one because I travel a lot. My boyfriend has a dog and I love to hear stories about what she does. Today he told me he was going to the store but the dog was standing in front of the car and wouldn't move. He opened the door to go tie her up and she jumped in the passenger seat and sat right on his pillow. I guess she was thinking hey you aren't going anywhere without me. Tell me your funny pet stories.

I have a cat named Tom. When he is in the mood to play he would run and hide and when he see me coming he would jump on my feet and run again and hide. Another funny thing is that he knows when i am about to it nachos his favorite snack. When he hears the sound of the plastic being torn he knows exactly if i am opening something else or his favorite nachos. :)

I like when pets like to play with you. My Doberman wasn't much of a playful dog.

My Parakeet, a boy named Serenity, sings quite loudly to Cher. He also makes "bang" noises whenever a John Wayne movie is on! It's hilarious. Oh by the way, I didn't name him poor guy!

My pets are completely free to come and go as they please--unless something else stops them. I remember one winter the snow was so deep it reached the middle of my thighs. I was struggling to clear a path in my driveway. I was about 1/3 done when my cat, Pearl, decided she wanted to go out. Put the snowpack was at least 4 times higher than her body. Impossible to get through. She could only walk as far as I had shoveled. She studied the situation for a minute and then, disappointed, walked back to the porch. I went back to work. I had barely made any progress when, 5 minutes later, I found her sitting by my side again. And she gave gave me this LOOK like she was saying, "What! Aren't you finished yet?"

Well my little cockapoo has seperation anxiety and tries to snrak out of the house when anyone is leaving snd when you pick up your keys he starts barking really bad. He doesnt like anyone leaving the house at all. He also is funny going outsude lately because he just only wants to chase lizards around and not do his business. One last thing is that he has this red bone that he loves so much and at night if he doesnt have this red bone in bed with him he doesnt go to bed and we are always on the hunt for the red bone.

A few years ago I had to go babysit my sister's kids so she could go to work. Back then we lived in different towns. At that time, one of my dogs had passed away unexpectedly, and I didn't want the other one to remain alone at the house. You see she was close to my other dog and was put on an "alert watch". Because my sister's apartment did not allow dogs, I had to take her to my mother's to be watched. Normally, we'd take the same route every day to get to my mother's and Keisha would ride up front with me. But on a particular day, I made a different turn because I had some prior business to take care of. Unexpectedly, this caused Keisha to go berserk. She looked about frantically and then started her alarmed and anxious sounding barks. It was as if she was saying, "This isn't the way to Memaw's!" Then a few months ago, my dog Shadow Jr (named for the one who passed away)was behaving erratically in the house. SJ has a condition the vet called impaired central nervous system. It's hard to explain, but it makes him super active hyper at times, even after exercise and it makes it difficult to train him. Well, this one day, he was running around my house and I was trying to calm him down. So I straddled him. I didn't put my whole weight on him, but I held onto his collar with both hands in my desperate attempt to calm him down. Unfortunately that did not work because SJ carried me through the house on his back in his attempt to run throughout it. I can't remember when my heart stopped pounding. It was Keisha who managed to calm him down, although I am not certain how she did it. I guess dogs have a special ability over dogs with disorders. Looking back at both incidents makes me laugh a little. Animals can be more amusing than people at times.

Well we don't have any pets as of now but we did have did ferocious dog when I was a kid. The whole neighbourhood was afraid of it (no exaggeration here ) I don't think this is a funny story but anyway I wanna share it :) That dog was quite a big one for a little me. Anyway we used to take it for a walk once a day. One day I decided to take it al by myself thinking it to be an wasy task. No it wasn't!! As soon as we got out of the gate of our compound, it got so very excited that it started to run, almost dragging me around. It was so powerful gosh!! I let go of the chain I was holding and it ran off. I didn't even try to look for it and went back home, hurt The good thing is it came back after a while, glad it knew it's way home!

My boyfriends dog is a little out of control because she is not trained. My father had a Doberman when I was a teenager and I loved walking her because people were afraid of her and they would cross to the other side of the street. It was funny because the dog wouldn't hurt a fly but people were afraid of her because of the reputation Doberman's had.
