I'd like to know whether some of you already experienced being caught up in an embarrassing situation. Must felt uneasy or very ashamed right? You don't know how to get out of it that you just wish to evaporate or disappear like a bubble or turn back the time so to have time to escape from it.
I had once experience this when I was on my 3rd year in high school. Of course, as a young lady, image is very important. Haha. We have this very wide quadrangle in our school. The wind was blowing hard that it managed to pop-out my uniform (skirt)'s zipper and next thing I know, I was there in the middle of the school with only my underwear! Ouch! My friend ran towards me for help. From that time on, the teasing went on for as long as I was third year. :(
So what's yours?

Oh yes, for me too it happened in high school but it was my first year in it (I was 11/12 years old). One day after school was over, when I was going back home on a rickshaw it suddenly started raining heavily. This rickshaw had nothing to cover oneself from the rain and we had this white shirt-blue skirt uniform at school. Now, you can imagine my situation all soaked up in water in my white shirt, it was like I had almost nothing on on my upper body!!
After rickshaw dropped me in my area, I had to walk home in this sort of condition trying to cover myself with my school bag and can't tell you how embarrassed I was feeling!!

me too. I was still in junior high school. I overslept. I was late for school and I immediately rushed to bathe, prepare books, uniforms and other school needs. then I hurried off to school. I went directly to school classrooms. there are teachers there. all eyes are on my shorts. I turned down. gee, I do not I close the zippers. I'm embarrassed as hell. then I faced the opposite position and close my zippers. :=((

Embarrassing situations are always unwelcome. One finds it hard to cope up with such situations which put one to may be quite a lot of shame and pity.

Hello there,
Yeah, actually I have lots of them before, from childhood and even now that I'm grown-up. There was one I remembered, my high school crush caught me staring at him...gosh I had the blush of my life! and here's another one, sort of kind'a gross embarrassing moments, it happened during my high school days also. I was walking down the corridor of our school not knowing that I had blood stain on my skirt(I had my period that time) but then my crush came to my rescue and escorted me along the way so he can cover my back. I was so shocked that time because he came out of nowhere and then I was even more shocked and really embarrassed when he whispered gentlemanly, "don't worry, just act natural, you have stain on your skirt"

What is embarrassing?
I met a neighbour at the supermarket lately. I loved her hairdress. As I told her so she said I probably missed it but she has cancer. Had chemo's etc and it's a wig.
I did not feel embarrased nor did she. Perhaps because we both were able to talk about it?

A couple of times where I am talking, there have been times where through a slip of the tongue, I really say something that I really do not mean quite in that manner. The English language is amazing, that one wrong word being stated, can make a completely innocent statement into a completely embarrassment statement. Then again, I am rather sure that many languages all around the world would be like that. Times where you really get into the moment and being talking but your words tend to turn out quite differently.
A lot of the time, people just laugh it off and I thus laugh it off and we roll with the punches. There was a time or two, the times that really make it a rather embarrassing situation when its to the wrong person. A person who think that you really meant what you said, its a slip of the tongue. Especially if that person is in a position of power. Which has really happened to me once and it was not good times. So yeah, that's why I tend to choose my words carefully but even then, slips of the tongue occur.
