I am using it, i just got my 1st payment.
You need to install a peer after you join. It pays for processing work unit.
It pays for active peers. However, no one can guarantee if your peer will become active. There are many waiting for their peer to get active. It may take days to few months.
However, once it is active if you have multiple systems with internet connection. You make minimum amount every month.
Do not worry about the installation, it is used to test the websites. It used your RAM(Memory), not sure if it used your internet too.
Hope it Helps

Gomez is a great passive earner. It runs in the background of your computer after you download the software without any interruptions or pop-ups. It is using the unused bandwidth that you are not using. I think the amounts that are made and paid vary per user, given how much you are on your computer or how much your computer is turned on, and on how many systems that you run the peer on (I am pretty sure that you can run it on more than one machine....make sure to read the site rules and guidelines carefully.) I think that how much you make will also vary by location. Lastly, just so you know, if you decide to join, you will be pending for awhile before you are considered active. I would not let this be a deterrence given that everyone starts this way and it will in no way mess up or interfere with your internet usage.
