eating right

Did you ever wounder if its too late to start eating healthy foods? I did. But that was awhile ago. I try not to eat high saturated foods but sometimes i cant help myself! and sometimes its not so bad. I swear I could servive on fish,cole slaw, rice and bread. Is that a healthy diet ewww scratch that d.i.e.t word I really doont like useing that word but there isnt anything else i could use to replace it...My eating habbits have really changed in the past 5 yrs. Im getting better at cooking too. But im no whiz at the stove. Ohhhh i love making tortillas! they are like these jumbo size burito-size tortillas and sooo yummy especially if u pair them up with my fejitas awith onions and bell peppers and my rice and beans oh yuuuuummmmyyyyyyy! I made some the other day for my brothers and his cute friend. and he mde this comment(my brother) to me.he said i remember when all u girls got together every sunday to cook for us guys and they guys had to clean after we were done! I sure do miss those good days. Now its just me and my hubby having barbeque on sundays with the neighborhood. we all gather once a week and bring our fav dish and share. I always surprise them with a ahuge cake or some disert! last time i made my mississippi mud pie except I made little muffins instead of icing on top, i added the marshmellows and then the chocolate glaze, it was a hit!! until our drunk neighbor came over and ran everyone out. but it was good while it lasted!

it's never too late to start eating healthy! but don't go on a diet there is no need for anything that extreme! just cook with a little less oil, cut off any excess fats.. and add a few extra vegetables into every meal.. gradually stop taking as much sugar in your tea or coffee, use slightly less sault.. just little steps :)

yep i dont go on diets and i hate the word diet. and excersize, so instead i say tone. im gonna tone up my body or what not.

I think it's difficult to eat healthy foods too, because usually they take more time and work to do then the unhealthy foods. We need to have a lot of discipline and don't let ourselves to fell on the easy way.

yep! i suppose it also depends on where one lives too. Like when i used to live in mexico when i was little i didnt have axcess to some of the sweet things that were more common in other areas in the world. all we had to eat were bean and rice and we had to kill our meat. and to bathe we had this really big pond that was brown...but that was when i was 7 or younger. we americans are spoiled that way and sometimes i dont like it

It's never too late to start eating right, so please don't think that you need to give up on your health just yet. If you think about it, you will be able to prevent any future damage from occurring even if you are unable to reverse the damage that has already been done to your body by eating that way that you have been doing in the past. I started eating healthily in January and, despite the fact that my body had been overweight for my entire life up until that point, I was very glad that I was finally doing something about it and making the most of the body that I have and also of the time that I have left on the planet.

From what I've read I think you love to cook. It is really difficult to regularly eat healthy foods when temptations are here. It is hard to avoid eating what you are used to it and so very delicious. I can say that my eating habit changes from time to time and I'm learning to drink milk instead of sodas, eat fruits and vegetables, something like that.

yes I know but sometimes I can't help it =D! i know im just saying that =D I do put cole slaw on all my foods but my daughters end up eating it before i do! when i put little vegetables in the food Paulina takes it out sometimes she'll even smell it before she eats it =)...my weakness is Dr Pepper. and i believe i got them all addicted so because i know its bad to have it everyday i cut down....well that was before i bought a 24 pack of drpepper i only try to drink 3 a week. and i drink water it has to be filtered and cold otherwise i wouldn't drink it. slowly my eating habbits have changed and real soon my daughters will follow my example! im very patient
