i have a pet dog, he's half-poodle half-spitz, i named him Cashew:) he's the most affectionate dog that i know of. when i sit on the couch, the climbs in beside me and lies down resting his head on my lap. if i go up from the couch, he'll stand too and follow me wherever i go. and aside from that, he's the best guard dog too:) he's smart:)

I have many animals actually. Four dogs, and several cats. The cats are just...cats. They do what they want pretty much. Sometimes I can get them to sit down for me for a few minutes. But they all behave the same, though some are more shy than others. And some like to test my patience. Lol The dogs are different in personality, but for the most part behave like dogs, except one. Booger is old, 16 and just wants to sleep all day. He doesn't do much. He is Saint Bernard and Lhaso Aspo mix. Baby is 12, and is calm. Though she tries to play with the other dogs and she gets excited at times. She is intelligent, but uncertain about doing things. She is Labrador and Beagle mix. Keisha is..different. Although not well noticeable in photos, she behaves differently from the other three dogs. She single tracks and walks with her head down. She's always on high alert of her surroundings, she is very territorial and despite being socialized from a young age, she is wary of strange animals and strange people. During November to late March she gets extremely moody to the point she tries to attack the other animals. This is when I have to monitor her closely and unfortunately put her on sedatives. She also has intelligence like a cat..meaning she'll take a message and get back to you later. When she stares at you, she can do it for a long time without blinking. My eyes watered once. No other dog I've owned throughout my life time has accomplished this, but she has. There are some people who have confused her for being part red wolf. But she isn't as they are closely monitored. Unless some freak incident occurred, but that would be the exception and not the rule. Keisha is eleven years old, and from what I can tell she is German Shepherd and Husky with possibly a tiny bit of wolf in her. Based on her strange behaviors, she is likely a very low content. These types outwardly can appear to look as dogs but have some wolf behavior traits. Shadow Jr unfortunately suffers from impaired central nervous system. This means that he cannot control himself very well and it takes much longer to teach him a command compared to other dogs. It took me nearly two years to teach him to sit. And when he is having one of his "fits" it can take a lot to calm him down. It once took six hours of him running free in the yard before he grew exhausted and came inside for a long nap. It was the first time ever he had slept that long in a single day. Shadow Jr is three years old and is part Labrador, Golden Retriever, and Poodle. Shadow Jr, Baby, and Booger all pretty much act similar where as Keisha behaves a bit differently, even to the point of establishing her dominance above them, and yet below me. She even got the cats to follow her dominating behavior, and all with a simple growling bark and deadly looking stare. On another note, Booger, Baby, and Shadow Jr shed constantly throughout the year. The thickness of their coat doesn't change much either, not in coloration or in depth. Keisha's coat gets extremely thick in mid-winter with a very busy tail. Her coat will darken in the winter time. In mid-summer she will suddenly have a major shedding. Her coat gets thinner as does her tail. It also gets lighter in color. So these are my animals. :)

It is really traumatic to lose a pet. We love dogs too as pets and we have four. One of our dogs is a husky, and the rest are pit bulls. They are very clever and lovable. They love to travel by car too. They are kept outside the house because we don't want them to get used to entering the house. We want to keep the mess outside so that it is easier to clean. We love them like our own kids. Our husky recently got birth and we gave the yuppies to our friends. The pit bull recently gave birth to eight and we are still keeping them because they are still small. Dogs are adorable when they are still puppies, they become real friends when they grow. I feel sad about your lost pet.
