Emmanuel Adebayor had three years texperience become arsenal Player, and therefore disliked by Tottenham Hotspur. Now he is part of the "Lilywhites" and the past is the past.
Tottenham managed to get Adebayor from Manchester City on loan. Togo Striker passport was already undesirable City, who also loaned to Real Madrid last season's second half.
As a former "Gunner" (the famous nickname for Arsenal), Adebayor once unpopular among Tottenham fans, and never became the object of their scorn when the Spurs play against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season.
"You have to be strong to decide to join Tottenham. I've played three and a half years for Arsenal, and there is great rivalry between Tottenham and Arsenal," said Adebayor in his first interview with Tottenham Hotspur channel recently.
"All I want to just play football and enjoy themselves, and today I am a Tottenham footballer. This is what should be enjoyed inside or outside the field.
"For me, the past is the past. I'm now looking to the future," added the 27-year-old man.
Adebayor is also called the manager Harry Redknapp as one of the factors themselves are willing to move to White Hart Lane.
"He's a great manager, exceptional person. As a footballer, it is important to work with someone who really understands you, and it is a key for me. He's one of the few people who really understand what is good for me."
Sunday (28 / 8) is the Spurs will host Manchester City, but Adebayor reportedly will not play because of the transfer clause of the City does not want the player to face his own club.
what do you think about the comment of Adebayor about his ex club?? do you like it?
do you believe he can bring Spurs become a good club this season and get number 4 in last standing in this season??

This is just standard talking from a player who showed he has no character. When he moved away from Arsenal, he mocked over the Arsenal fans, despite the love they have shown to him. Now he plays for a club he mocked over for years, last year when Real met Tottenham, Adebayor made some mocking statements about Tottenham. And now he plays for them. A few years ago, in Greece or in Turkey such player were beaten by the fans, as they didn't accepted this kind of low talk. I remember that last year even an old coach( I cannot remember his name) was beaten by the fans of a Greek team, because of his betrayal. I don't say that violence is the solution, but players don't have any respect anymore for the teams, for the fans and for the meaning of the clubs. Adebayor is just another traitor, along side with Figo, Neuer, Ibrahimovic and many players who have low characters.

what about Balotelli??
many player move from one club to another club without hurting the feeling of their former club and fans..
you can see when Luis Enrique move from Real madrid to Barcelona and become a legend for Barcelona too..he never said negative comment about Real Madrid..
or Raul Gonzales who doesn`t need by Club but he still respect Madrid...

Raul is a traitor also, who was raised by Atletico and he moved to Real with the first occasion he had. I don't know Luis Enrique's situation so well, as I was a child then, and never searched for it. As for Balotelli, he always said that he is a Milan fan, and I really don't know how he got to play for Inter.
All I can say that players shouldn't be idolized, because the majority of them will eventually go to a rival, without carrying for the fans and the promises many of them made that they will never go to the rivals.

Adebayor risks becoming one of those players who just keeps travelling between clubs. At Arsenal and at Man City his big mouth has got him in trouble. Already the Arsenal fans really hate him, now that he has joined Spurs, they are really going to given him a horror time when he comes back to Emirates.
Cheers!
