Hi friends, I was watching Parliament proceedings today till now and heard many MPs talking about the current issue. Few of them were disciplined however most of them were active like illiterate, manner less peoples, they were shouting on others when s/he is talking or putting his/her points. Finally I changed the channel and listening music and now on MyLot. I felt watching these discussion is pointless as they are not talking but debating who is wrong and who is more right .. Do you watch Parliament proceeding? Thank you for sharing.

You are absolutely right my friend I was also watching Parliament Proceedings till 4 O'clock everyone is shouting on each other no reach the decision. Now the 12 the day of Anna's fast but no body can take care of it. You are right all the discussion is pointless I think today the discussion will not complete and final point will get us. What happen with ANNA HAZARE no one knows. Yesterday Amrish puri said maximum person of Lokshabha is uneducated thats true.

Well some of the parliament proceeding were really nice and motivating like that of smt. Sushma Swaraj and Varun Gandhi. But everybody should have expected better behavior from them as the whole country was watching the parliament session today and what we saw today was there best behavior and you can imagine what happens in other situations. The worst was from the illiterate MR Laloo Parsad Yadav and I think he should be suspended from the parliament for rest of his life. But friends they are the people which we ourselves choose and It is our fault that we let the illiterate people to make policies for our country.

True, I like her putting points about Jan Lokpal but others like Lalu were talking nonsense. Lalu can buy many more education certificates there is no one who can stop him from getting more education just on paper. Most of the politicians are just like that. Thanks for sharing.

No I don't usually watch parliament proceedings. But since this Anna Hazare movement has started my other family members seems to watch Loksabha channel all day long~ Eww it's too loud and boring and they never say anything useful or drive at a common solution to the problems. I would better watch India tv.LOL

I watch Parliament Proceedings when I get time. But as you said, many MP's are quarrelling each other just like a animal. They even do not know that the Proceedings are watched by many people in the world. Also, they are putting hands? (clapping)just like a mad man.How they become MP? All the voted people should watch them.

They became MP because we have chosen them while voting. We should be very careful while giving vote to these politicians. Thanks for sharing.

I rarely watch debates in parliaments.I like debates though on news channels.I think you are talking about saturdays special session of parliament.I planned to watch but I couldn't but I saw the clips in news channels. All our MPs were serious at least in that session. No surprise seeing some popular funny faces parliamentarians opposing the resolution. It was expected from them.

I never watch parliament proceedings of our country because to me, it is nothing but a mere wastage of time as the standard of debate there is not high, rather it is full of shouting. So I never feel any urge for it, rather I feel that time should be utilized in a more fruitful way and I try to do it.

I never watch parliament proceedings but past 2-3 days that is the only news that comes on TV channels. I watched the proceedings for the first time yesterday. As you said they were just shouting at each other and at the end no proper decision was taken on the topic they were debating about. I usually just put on my headphones and listen to songs and surf on net until some good movie comes on TV :)

I would suggest you not watch in future as well because it will not serve any purpose but only disappointment. They will shout on others without any point. Thanks for sharing.

I don't like watching these proceedings but when there is a hot discussion maybe about corruption, then I am eager to see how they can handle this, then I don't mind being glued to the T.V. Another issue that has been catching my attention toward parliament proceedings is how the MPs are going to evade paying taxes- something they have been doing since my country got independence. Now that our new constitution requires everyone to pay taxes. Otherwise, I have no time for this program anymore.
