When I started this book I was really worried. The first few+ stories in this collection I didn't like at all, and I thought I was in for a rough read. But thankfully the stories did get better for me. There were still one or two here or there that I didn't really like or "get" but there were also a few that I really really enjoyed. If you like thrillers/mysteries then you may want to check this one out.
I'm on the last story right now, and it's kind of confusing! I don't know what the heck is going on. But there were a few that have stuck out for me....
One story called "The Circle" intrigued me a lot, I just didn't like how it ended. Another memorable one for me is "The Lamented" which is surprising to me because I don't usually like ghost stories. But perhaps my favorite story of the collection is the second to the last one called "Killing Time" that turns a psychotic serial killer into a hero.
I was kind of vague on the story details on purpose, but if you want to know more about them I'll be happy to give you a better synopsis. Has anyone else read this book?

I once read this book, a collection of short stories from various authors of old and new, all of this same category and, like you I did get to like some while others I found sort of confusing or just not to my liking. Yet, all in all, it was a fun read. Unfortunately it got burnt together with most of my collections a few years ago and I could hardly remember the books title.

I still have to read the first Thiller book, I'll get it as soon as I can.
Your books got burnt??

Yes. Our house got involved in a fire incident that started from our neighbors a few houses away. It was one tragic day, although only the 2nd-storey of our house got really burnt, it was really bad for me because my room was on that part and everything I had and kept was in there and I wasn't home that time. So around 95 percent of my book collections were turned to ashes. I found around 4-5 Stephen King books that got saved, but that's all that's left of it to this day.
