Why wake slain houseflies in the ashtray back to life?

Hallo,
if neither dog nor fish eat the slain flies, they migrate into the ashtray, which is not usually without ash and butts there. After a while, the rattle up and fly away like the phoenix from the ashes. And when they were crushes Sun Have you been watching that too and does anyone know why that is?

I do have a soft body, like a foam ball.
