Well, I think the meaning of this video is the things that Eminem and Royce the 5'9 had past threw. For a example at the start of the video, Eminem's hair is blonde and he's dressed with his old style, trying to put up some lyrics and make something, but he's too depressed to do that. It's clear that they're trying to show his depression by the look of his room - messy and dirty. Eminem couldn't create anything, so he starts feeling even worse and gets down to a black and dark shaft under the grown. Then he's dressed with his new style, but with a cowl and a hat - another metaphor for depression. Bruno Mars is singing "So hold up your light, let it shy", that probably means that the lights in the song and video are symbol of the spirit and motivation of people. The song's purpose is to motivate people and inspire them. At the end of the song, Eminem and Royce the 5'9 are getting out of the dark shaft and gets on the top of a mountain, which means how they come up from the bottom to the top of the mountain. The song is very motivational, so as the video. Another great production of Eminem and Royce the 5'9.Good work.

I like Bruno's part because it talks about living the dream which in turn what Eminem and Royce were rapping about. How from their beginnings to where they are now successful musicians in the music world. And if you look at their concerts where the artist is making solemn/inspiring moment, the audience takes up their lighters and lit it up for all to see. That's what its all about.
