Is man the only creature in this vast universe to challenge nature?

Science has not yet been able to predict whether there is existence of man or any man-like creature anywhere in this vast universe in addition to the earth. If it is taken for granted that there is, then we must admit that so far we have not been able to communicate with them. Thus it seems that we are alone in this vast universe compared to which our beloved planet is nothing but a drop of water in the Indian Ocean. If it is the real picture, then why have we been fighting all the time among ourselves from the very dawn of human civilization instead of trying to save man from the disastrous effects of nature so that there is at least someone in this vast universe who can dare to challenge nature?

It's statistically certain that there is intelligent life somewhere else in our galaxy - to say nothing about the millions of other galaxys in the universe. However, it is not likely to be anything remotely "man like." I doubt that any intelligent lifeform out there will be like those that are depicted in Star Trek where most of the aliens are humanoid in apparance.

There may or may not be man-like or any other creature more intelligent than man anywhere in this vast universe, but we are yet to communicate with each other. Thus one cannot come forward in rescue of the other. So, we, the men, who are the residents of this planet must cooperate with each other in saving ourselves rather than fighting with other for our own destruction.

I'll agree with that though it's not likely to happen that we will start cooperating and stop fighting one another. If anything, it's going to get worse as wars are fought over access to diminishing resources.

I need to mention that the Natural forces are also very powerful, not only simply the man...

I am of the belief that there are many other living creatures in the universe that we have never had any kind of contact with. The reason that I believe this is that it doesn't make any sense to me that there would be a universe as big as ours is with only one very isolated area where there was life. I tend to believe that the other lifeforms are very different from our own and that is the reason that we have never been able to have any kind of contact with them.

There is nothing else on earth that is created more intellingent and having a thinking capability. Man is the only creature on earth that has power on each and everything despite nature's fury because man cannot do anything to overcome the harzds of nature. talking about the universe we don't have any assurance that there are aliens in other planets, take the recent example of journey to Mars where only some samples of living are found but as compared to that today we have no leaving creature in universe as compared to man. So i guess Man is the only creature in univers to challenge the nature.

Hi, Human beings are creatures who were given intelligence and make it as maklhuk who more than any others. Because of that grace, one by one human being can solve any mysteries in the universe, but that's not how. Great mysteries of the universe who is far more who have not been solved. Humans just keep trying and trying to get an explanation of the mystery. Good day

So far as now i think mans only the one to challenge nature, no living creature that we saw until now posses such knowledge as we humans, humans really are capable of going beyond and insight, has the power to look into future and we say humans are really adaptable creature ever lived, we people adjust anywhere and adapt to surrounding changes and thus we overcome it with experience. personally i dont know if there is anything beyond human brain, like maybe an alien wonder if its just a myth or for real or are they really hiding among us who knows.

Initially man was trying to explore the nature of universe to understand more about it. But later, he started to change the nature with his discoveries which started a threat and it is returned back. I would say answer is yes, its only us challenging the nature in both good and threatening ways!

There has to be something at least intelligent as man in this wide universe. Especially considering that there is much that I am pretty certain that we have yet to discover. In fact, there is most certainly a lot of life out there in the vast universe that can be considered to be far more intelligent than us. Who knows if we are going to find them in any our lifetimes. However we are far from the only intelligent life. In fact, for some of those various life forms, calling humans intelligent might be a stretch. If they discover us, we might be to them what something like insects are to us. Or they might be slightly more primitive, but still intelligent. So who really knows anymore but some time we might find out.

"By combining the creation and evolution theories, we find that climatic condition makes people to change and adopt to such environment. If man's activities are destroying nature, we expect our future generation to be more better of to suit in that destroyed environmental conditions much better than we are doing by now" This is just my take in 'survival for the fittest'.
