Why are many people so selflessly in need and use every opportunity to help others? ... Can not do with their boredom?

Helping others is not only beneficial to the recipient of the deed; it also benefits the one doing the helping because it makes them feel good about themselves that 1) they were able to do something good and able to make a difference in someone else's life and 2) they have this realization and feeling of gratification that they are well able to help others rather than be the one needing the help.

and what should it be wrong? If you were ever in an emergency situation, you know how important such people are shake one's hand when nobody else does. I like to help if I'm able to, but not because I break my teeth from the crown. This has nothing to do with boredom, but with the inner attitude.
