Purpose of men

Everyone need purpose in their life to achieve happiness, right?
I don't know about woman purpose (I'm a man) but I think purpose of men can divided in three category:
1. Wealth. Every man want to be rich and success. Some people almost do anything achieve these (I think include thieve, robbing, scam etc). I divide these in two sub category: a) Tangible: money or everything can be bought by money (as long can be touch or see), b) Intangible: School, career
2. Health. everyone need these. You can't enjoy your life if you sick
3. Family/woman(?). Men life is not completed if they don't have someone (I prefer opposite gender) by their side.
Any advice for these?......
I also welcome if someone want add "purpose of woman" because I don't know anything about it ......

Maybe you'll understand women's purpose if you look at your mom and realize what she had done.

Moms are meant to take care of their children. They're responsible for the "tender loving care" department of the family. Women, in general, are responsible for conceiving babies. To put it in other words, you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your mom.

I think we all have different purposes to add to life and the world around us.First men and women have the purpose to love and create other life.I think we have a purpose to explore and create new ideals and skills to better life.Also we have the purpose of beauty and art to futher ones mind and dreams.Men and women are born and some of our puropses may be different beacause each life and soul is suppose to add new meaning to the world.

I would agree with you on all these subcategories. I am a man also, and I definitely know how a man feel without having money, or without having a woman on your side. Money and woman for a man are definitely most important thing. Also, a good health also provide a longevity in possession of both things you just mentioned.

All the purposes and goals you mentioned are the desires of almost every man.Having a good job money and a family with a caring loyal partner.I would like to add something that involves your in society.In my case I would like to do a little bit for the society from my side according to my capacity to satisfy my soul.

Well after fulfilling all our desires .I mean if you are not happy and satisfied then you cant give your contribution to society.I cant keep in category but if you are happy and satisfied with your life.. only then you can do something fruitful for the society.That should be part of an ideal life no matter how much and when you do that..

I think the goal of all people both women and men alike. but different primary purpose, there is a pick of wealth, happiness /serenity, and life partner. everyone choose his own destination. The main purpose of my own life to get peace and happiness.

I am a women and i would say the purpose of women in their life is mostly happiness, happiness of their familes,of their beloved ones and dedication also i would say towards their work and family.But of course there are many other womens too who feel their purpose is to fullfill their goals,acheive success and so on.

Thank God, I though only men interesting with this discussion (sorry, I don't mean to offend you).
From what I see, seem like you pointing on family matters.
The truth is I'm not so sure about it because I saw a lot of women pointing on other purpose (specially on educated person). Any advice for this ....?
and not worry about the crap that goes with it.

Everyone wants these things, health, wealth and sharing life does give purpose to our lives. Every person is given a cup and can drink from it with joy. Our obligation is to not to do others harm. We will not if we learn right from wrong. But I am not so sure happiness is something we can actually achieve but a life long pursuit?
Somehow I don't get it. How about people who had purpose to maintain power or dominate other .... they will make some damage/harm on other in process@Bluedoll (16774)

True that may be their purpose. But remember the topic included to be happy. I do not think anyone could be happy about bringing harm to others. Maintaining power or even if we use the word dominate can be a constructive thing. It is only when we control others to their peril is this not a positive thing for them or for the one in control. To seek to be happy with ourselves I believe requires a balanced conscience too? Just my thoughts
