Do you get earning for each piece of response?

Hi,myLotter.as a new member here, i am not familiar with mylot's rule and have a little question.can you get earning for each piece of response? I have responded to so many discussion,but i get so little. Basically,what i get for each piece of response on average is far less than 1 cent. In fact each of my response is considered carefully,and full of words. Any friend can tell me why? and how to earn much more? Thank you in advance.
