when couples look alike.. are they likely to be married?

Well it is always said that here in the Philippines. couples (boyfriends and girlfriends) who looked very much alike already will likely end up with each other already.
i just thought of this topic, actually and well hmm i thought maybe its true.. hehe and well i have a friend who seemed like his boyfriend is actually her brother. haha yeah they looked so much alike already and people always say they would end up with each other already!
what do you think?

i also heard that a lot of times, but i think it is not true because i had a boyfriend before, we are so much alike and often mistaken to be my brother but we don't end up with each other (i am glad we didn't though). so i think, it is just coincidence to the couples who looks alike and end up with each other.

I can say that it's not true. 
I had facial similarities with two of my exes and yet, I did not end up with any of them.
But there's really that saying and when I was told that when I was with the two of them, I felt so happy. Of course, if you're in love, who will not be happy when you are told that you looked like your boyfriend and that you will end up with each other?

I don't think so. I know some couples who don't look alike and they're very much in love with each other. Maybe you're just seeing so many couples that look alike that's why you came up with this kind of conclusion.

hi chiyosan... yes, same as in your place, ion my neighborhood there is also a belief, that if there is a pair of lovers who resemble each other, then that is their soul mate!
Between trust and no, i have ever experienced anything else, i could have a lover, and they say that we are very similiar. But in fact we later broke up and never meet again until now... even now i already have a girlfriend, who i love her very much..!

I think that this is very true! I and my husband were boyfriend and girlfriend for 6 years before getting married. People around us would always say that we look like each other so much. It's true, I do look like my husband and I'm loving it.

Yes I've heard about it that if a couple have the same features of the face they would end up together in marriage. But I still believe that love and respect is more important in a relationship. If they have that spark when they are together I guess it counts a lot. No matter what they look if they understand and will be willing to stay in each other's side for the rest of their life then it's the best sign of a lasting relationship.

I always hear this, but I don't know if it's true. Most of the couples I see does not look alike but they end up being married anyway. Maybe one can say they look alike because you can always see their faces attached to the other. But, I think that is not true. If you love a person you will really end up getting married even if you don't have the same facial features.
