The situation is: I am really good with computers and electronics in general. The problem is that I don't have any document that proofs that.I know everything I know from practice, an amateur, but a very good one. Since January I'm unemployed. For about ten years I've been working in night clubs and bars mostly, almost any position you can think of. I. Almost every employer wants more then a high school diploma and I only have that. The only reason I can't work what I really love doing, is because I don't have a document to proof I'm good an it. What do you think I should do? I'm starting to get desperate :(

sorry about it ,it is better you start a business of your own ,with your knowledge.this does not require any documentation.i think so.

you have 2 options: start studying it and get a formal document.... if you already know the subject you will not make big efforts to learn it. so it depends only if you can afford paying for the course. second possibility: distributes flyers in your neighbourhood and offer reduced prices and attractive offers ( such as, doing most work from the client's house etc..) people will respond because of the price. then, they will know you and will want you again. if you succeed continue distributing flyers in other places in your town. it must work like that!

I am sure there must be many people , your relatives, friends, colleagues at work place, and so on, who know about your skills working with computers and electronics. Testimonials and recommendation letters from them would be very helpful when you apply for jobs of your preferences.

Be easy, you are not alone. Depending on what exactly you can do, you can try: - freelancer's forums. Register and offer your self. - do things for no or very little money around - friends, neighbors - to build up a reputation as one who knows what to do.

start for yourself, make a site, business cards, promote yourself, let others you helped out promote you, if you really want you can get famous that way before you ever proved what you are able too. One of my neighbours started like this, fixing computers at home for always the same price. Now he has his own company (and is not visiting you at home anymore).
