Feeling zoned out

Have you ever felt zoned out in school and when you have to have a group discussion you are clueless because you wasn't paying attention? This happened to me I was day dreaming about what I was going to cook to eat and the teacher said "Ok class get in groups and tell me what you think of what we just read" Has this happen to you when you were in school before?

Oh yeah, it happen to me tons of times while I was in class. I was daydreaming and couldn't sum up my attention to the class, so I wander around outside of the class. When the teachers suddenly told us to write down what we think of certain subject, I was clueless in a piece of paper.
