Looking at a lot of the snacks out there, many of them are a bit pricey and a lot of them are not healthy. However it is a lot cheaper to buy fruit and not to mention a lot healthy. So it helps on two fronts, saving some money and having a healthier diet. It really does give you two reasons to eat fruit.

I don´t know the price of fruit in other countries, but in mine (Chile) there´s always some fruit in season and they are not expensive. At my super, in this moment, there are some imported fruit. I don´t buy those . We have had in winter apples, tangerines and oranges, pears and bananas. That is to begin with. All of them are unexpensive if you compare them with a greasy snack. In Summer we have more kinds, starting with peaches and nectarines, berries, apricots and grapes in Autumn. I think that a nice big fruit can be bout for 25 cents here.

Good that you can get a pretty big piece of fruit where you live. That is always a good thing to find something like that. Especially when it is nice and fresh. That is really something that tastes rather good when you think about it. Fruit is really good, it is great, it is just something that really works well. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Fruits are good foods. The only time we have cheap fruits in Bayou City is when they are in season; and even then, only when they are in abundance. I love fruits and enjoy eating them, but they are not cheap; unless one is a farmer or probably lives in the countryside.

It really can be dependent where you look for sure. I think that with anything really, that is the case, fruit included. There are some distinct cases of absurd prices. However there are places where it can be a bit cheaper than most things to say the least. Plus more value to say the least. Again it really does depend where you look. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

i would definitely agree with that one. a lot of people would go for chips which are not that healthy as compared to fruits. we should be more conscious on what we eat. fruits is a good choice.

Indeed not to mention more expense when you really think about it. There are some brands of chips that are upwards to four dollars or so a bag on average. And there does seem to be less bang for your buck anyway as they are downsizing the portions the hire the price goes. Fruit is always going to be fruit and it is going to be a lot more cheaper. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
