with my allergies I can't consume milk I also don't take carboydrates. The rest you can find in other kinds of food as well. Personally I believe milk is ment to be for a baby (human or animal depends on the kind of milk).

I don't drink much milk because it gives me horrid gas.. but I do eat cheese and yogurt.. they don't bother me. I have to have plenty of calcium and D because I have osteoporosis. I'm supposed to consume a quart of milk a day or the equivalent.. I rarely get that much in.

Hi, yugasini. This is very true! I love drinking milk. I also love making milkshakes too. I make sure that I eat at least two to three servings of milk daily. It can be in any food that I may consume. I am going to drink some Silk Soy milk today for lunch. It is a very healthy milk to drink.

hello yugasini, Milk is high with calories and I never thought it is good for the eyesight. I know it is good for our bones esp for growing kids and also for aged people. As long as the milk is fresh and not concentrated or diluted with other substance like sugar etc. Processed milk is not good anymore because the enzymes are gone and it causes some lactose intolerance to older people. have a good day jaiho®

Milk is a complete food with the exception of iron.. it does not contain iron which we need for hemoglobin production... but I would not say that it is good for eyesight.. Vitamin A prevents night blindness.. it's not going to improve the eyesight in a general way. I think what you are saying here is your opinion, which is fine, but it is not factual as far as being good for eyesight. I like milk, but it doesn't like me so I try to stay away from it and drink almond milk.

I think it is good to take different milk shakes. Now a days milk shakes powder are available of different flavors like pista, cashew, etc that are very tasty and needs to put in milk and to have. I also think it is good to have milk shakes with different fruits in it.
