Does anyone know gomezpeerzone.com ?

I've signed up in this site which is an autosurf site. However I don't understand the nature of the site. First I was unactive member then the status changed to pending but it says I can't earn anything unless I'm active. So have anyone worked with this site before and know how it works and whether it pays or not?

It takes a while until your 'pending' status is approved and becomes 'active'. Although it will display statistics about online time, minutes used and money earned while you are pending, you will not actually earn anything until your status becomes Active. While your PC, OS and connection are being assessed ('pending'), leave your PC on and connected to the Internet as much as possible. You stand a better chance of being approved if they can see that your PC is online regularly and often. GomezPeer is not really an 'autosurf' program. They use your PC to test their clients' websites without actually loading them into your browser and then aggregate statistics for the sites for their clients' information. It is perfectly safe and doesn't compromise your security or deliver viruses. I have found that it pays quite well (I have consistently earned between $8 and $12 a month from it since April this year) but the actual rates per minute of processing time vary from country to country and, of course, it depends how long your PC is online and available and how many PCs you have it installed on (they allow multiple installations for the same account).

GomezPeer runs when you are NOT using your computer. It has nothing whatsoever to do with your surfing habits.

First of all it does pay. Second, it is not an autosurf site. Basically it works by trying to find the best combination for a better Internet surfing experience. As I understand it there are companies which pay GomezPeerZone to find out things like how fast their site would load on a particular computer configuration. The software does not take note of a user's personal details,

Thanks for making the site's work clearer and for assuring that it pays. Do you know how much will you earn if you are an international member? and I've earned 1 cent but still pending is this normal?

The rate of earnings depends a lot on location. I am not sure about the present status but I remember when I joined members from countries like China earned more than those from Malaysia. Factors determining status include location, system configuration, the number of Peers in your area, and online time. It took me more than 3 months. Currently there is a daily bonus of 8 cents for every 20 hours total online time.
