Why they say that "life begins at 40" that in the sense life begins since birth or other says when there's life started to grow in the womb of a woman. My simple perception about this is, at the age of 40, the strength of mostly all human will start degrading. Sights will become poorer, force will lessen and many illnesses will come out. That means in this stage fragility of life will be started. Any of my fellow mylotters can share a view about this matter.

No, I don't subscribe to that line. I do believe that life begins now. Living has no set age to begin with. Life is the exact moment that you are living and that is always the present now. Life is a general condition that can be realized at the present. Just my two cents in here.

I guess they say that because that's when you're all set out to live the life you want. That's the age when you're already done studying. That's also the age when you've already elevated yourself through the positions you're working for in your company. Most importantly, that's the time when you already have your family so you need to pour in more effort because you'll be raising a family and working your job at the same time.

Yep, and that too. Success is pretty hard to achieve so when you do, you'd pretty much savor it til you're too satisfied with it.

For the established people front, this is the time they taste the savor of success and a time of tackling more responsibilities not only for their families but so as to their profession.

"My simple perception about this is, at the age of 40, the strength of mostly all human will start degrading. Sights will become poorer, force will lessen and many illnesses will come out." Say what??! You're clearly not over 40. I have not found any of that to be true. I'm more atuned to my body and health than I've ever been, therefore, it's now that I'm taking care of myself, and enjoying life more. There's something to be said for being over 40, you're financially stable, your career is established, your kids are not toddlers anymore. I certainly don't think this is when I'm starting to deteriorate.

You are right. Life begins at 40 because it is the start of suffering. It is the start of midlife crisis. It is the start of changes in your physical appearance, emotional aspect, mental and spiritual.

That is an interesting expression. A lot can be said about life. Maybe it's an individual thing, or maybe not. If by the time you've reached 40, your life has been hard and full of obstacles, I think you will be too tired to enjoy life. Maybe if your life was full of happiness and good moments and memories, you have a happy solid family and everything is going well, then you can start to enjoy life on the fullest, you can relax and stop worrying about everything. Your kids are grown ups, they can look after them selves. My personal impression is that some people are starting to look better than ever when they go in their 40s, especially women. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. The people I see around me, most of them are sad, crushed from life with almost no strength left in them, no sparkle in their eyes. It's just that life is tough here for most people. I hope I live to see my 40's.

To this quesyion,I think that different people have got different ideas about when life begins, A few days ago,I look back to my old years of school life(now I am nearly at the end of my school life). This year is the last year ,I am going to society,to hunting for a job,to start something new ,to begin different roles in life ,to fufill my responsibilities to my parents an the whole society,I think my real life will begin at the time of my graduation. However,as I think back ,it suddenly downed on me that there is no way to life ,life itself is the way,the basic elements are the constitute of life, including hardships, happiness. Enjoy everyday of our life, treasure every minute of our life,we never know what will happen tommorrow,so live life at the present moment.

I think that a lot of people might find that their lives begin at this age as this is the age that they are finally able to get their own lives back again after having children. Although they won't be old enough to leave home or anything like that, they would probably be teenagers and therefore able to look after themselves a little more than they would have been able to when they were children. I hope that I will be able to have a very good life by the time that I am 40, as it means that I will be able to start things that I really enjoy.
