Does anyone believe you if you tell them about this site or think you are mad?

If you tell any of your friends or family about Mylot, do they think you are insane? Its strange as the automatic reaction I have been getting when telling them about what I find to be an amazing site, is that Im trying to scam them or something! I think they think there HAS to be some catch and are automatically dubious, even if I try and explain it, I seem to get blank looks. Yet people will spend hours on a horrible site like facebook, but really can get much better discussions here, and BE PAID!?! Is it just me, or are people really looking a gift horse in the mouth here? Any similar experiences or am I explaining it wrong or something, its just snubbed. Right off the bat. Wierd?

My friends and family don't think I'm insane when I tell them about Mylot. They only say I waste too much time here for a few dollars a month. But if I had spent my time with Facebook, wouldn't it have been the same? I mean, I was still wasting my time but, at least, with Mylot I earn something. And I don't have the time to be here as much as I liked!

I think that they tend to look at me or act rather strangely. I don't know if they are too skeptical or too lazy to use their time on the Internet in a productive manner. You know in a manner that might actually earn them a few extra dollars. And they might accidentally learn something in the process. But no, we can't really have that. Facebook is one of the most frustrating things that ever happened on the Internet. Really there are times where I go on there for brief, brief spurts, but I can't see being on there for more than ten minutes at a time. And there is a lot of mindless, pointless drivel. Still whatever works I guess. Not really my cup of tea to say the least. Yet there is no value from Facebook, rather for the money or for the mind. That's alll that I've got to say about that.

Well, in my experience -- its okay for them to work online, but the problem is the pay is low. Even if I do get excited and explain everything about this site, they would just ask me -- "how much they pay you?" -- of course, I would tell them the truth that the minimum payout is $10.00 and if they knew that its only $10.00, they just gave me this weird looks as if they don't understand why I am still working online then, they would tell me that its better for me to get the real job than working online. I guess, they're looking for big pay like working outside from home.

Well, if you tell me a very good site i'll surely try to open it to judge by myself whether it is a good one and whether it's worthwhile for me to spend my time on it. THe site myhappygames was a wonderful paradise for free online games, when my friend first told me about it, i was dubious too but i fell in love with the time i opened it. The beautiful attractive rabbit logo was so cute and adorable... and the amazing supply of games to play...So i believe people will judge by themselves first.

I haven't told too many of my friends about Mylot because I know that most of them aren't very interested in online earnings, but if they prefer to spend their time playing silly Facebook games,it's their problem,I'm not going to waste my energy trying to explan to them what a great site Mylot is because I doubt they will try it.However,if I find someone I know really interested in that site,i will help that person accommodate with Mylot.I'm still confident that one day I will find such people or at least one person among those I know willing to give Mylot a try;they will certainly not regret it.

They actually did believe me! However, that may be because I'm talking about money oportunities all the time so they're kind of used to it and aren't looking suprised anymore when I come up with another one that pays you to post, communicate, etc.. But it's not very suprising that some may find it hard to believe, but ain't it just great to get paid for discussing?

Very good point you've got here. They would rather spend hours getting numb and dumb in Facebook rather than earn here in mylot. I would like to use that line to try to get referrals here. Anyway, I invited people over but they are just the type who don't have enough time or patience for this type of job. Now that I have thought of it, I probably should try harder. Thanks for this discussion.

I enjoy Mylot, but I do not really do any other social sites. Well, I guess I really do. I just don't really think of them as social sites, because sometimes I don't even go to the forum. I go there every month for a while cause I can get a bonus for posting so many times in one month. I do other tasks and specials on there that I earn from so I don't guess it's just a social site. I guess I could look at mylot the same way, but I mainly use mylot to talk to others. It's just a different way of conversing than the others I use.

There is a stigma that comes with online earning. When a person hears the words "earn online", they atomatically think "scam" and for good reason too. That's because over half the sites out there that "claim" to allow you to earn, are actually scams. Maybe ten percent (thinking on the low end) are actually legitimate. And, with this being said it can be hard to convince anyone to join. And, I can assure you that I'm certain it's not in how you promote the site.Because when it comes to promoting, I consider it an epic fail. Even my best friends, are caustious when I tell them about any make money online website (this one included.) One of the questions they ask me is: "Does it work?" If I can answer it effectivly enough, they may join, but if I can't then that may drive them away. So yes, I've tried, yes I've failed. Two out of the five or so people I've told, actually joined. One is my first ref. So with that being said, keep doing what you're doing. If you get someone great... if not don't blame yourself. Consider their point of view.
