If you have ever visited me on ebay (I would insert my ebay name here but that would be against mylot rules), you would know that I sell alot of records amongst other things...I was contacted by another ebayer who was shutting down his physical record store not far from me & he has offered to sell me the rest of the store items (5000+ items including records, cds, tapes & memorabilia) for $3000! I am excited as i can see this as a great business opportunity to get my ebay store up & running as my most successful selling items have been my records...what would you do if you were given a great business opportunity like this? I am going to see the stockl on Thursday & take some money with me (I don't have the full $3000) & buy some of the stuff & hopefully come back at another date for the rest. I AM EXCITED! Did I mention that? lol.

That is great news. I am sure that you will do very well out of all that. How much does $3000 get you? A lot I imagine! Yes I can definitely tell that you are excited! Feel free to PM me your Ebay store and I will take a look.

5000! I think that you would be better off having a store for all those items! Looks like you might have a full time job doing that!

I went down to his house on Thursday & found out that the 5000 items was just the records! I ended up buying all his cds (about 225) for $350 & so far have listed about a 1/4 of them...1 already has a bid

With selling on ebay, I just try to take good photos & be as descriptive as possible because the potential buyers can't physically pick up the item to have a look. Sending you a message now...

My guess is he was looking for people who lived close by who sell records, etc...he would have seen on ebay that I live only about a 45 min drive north or him so it's worked out well

I hope all goes well for you, friend. I know you cannot place your ebay name here, but you might send it to me by PM as I would not consider this from you a spam. I wonder how much you can sell (records) now. My grandsons are always downloading FREE music. I have lots of vinyls though and I bet that I could sell those as memorabilia at this moment. LOL Luck!

So far, alot of my records have sold for only $0.99 but these ones I haven't been worried about because they were either given to me or I aquired them from my mother's estate when she passed away. I have been lucky enough to sell some recored for over $AU10! Crash Craddock sold for $AU12.50!
